Introduction to Valuing People

Valuing People explores Ridgewater College's commitment to the development and well-being of its faculty, staff, and administrators. The commitment to and well-being of its students is also addressed briefly, but it is not the focus of this section. 

The section first deals with demographic trends that influence Ridgewater College's workforce needs, then documents the College's processes for recruiting, hiring, retaining, and orienting personnel. Several results of Ridgewater's commitment to its employees are documented in question 4R1, including information on employee security and safety, professional development, professional evaluation, and employee well-being. Student satisfaction and well-being is also addressed briefly.
